I was watching an episode of A Million Little Things on ABC. It was the final episode of the fall season, so it included several cliff hangers to keep you guessing and want to tune in again in 2 or 3 months when new episodes are shown. The last 4 minutes of the show featured many, with a song playing in the background. The song was a tragic desperate love song that I had never heard before, but it grabbed me by the heart and would not let go. Over the next few days, I replayed the last 4 minutes of the show to hear the song again. Determined to figure out what the song was, I went to YouTube Music, where they have a link to find a song from some of its lyrics. After a couple of tries I found my song, and listened to it again and again. There was many videos of the song, so I watched several different ones. The song was apparently 15 - 20 years old and was extremely popular even part of the soundtrack from a couple of movies. I guess I have lived a sheltered life. I did not choose this song, it has chosen me, wrapping its tentacles around my heart and soul. For those who say, like this song appears to do, that love is a futile trek, let my days be filled with futility and my heart with sorrow. I apologize to anyone who doesn't have earphones or speakers, you will have to find this on your own if you wish. I have watched 25 - 30 videos of the over 200 available. My 1st choice, did not down load from YouTube. So this one maybe the one that is suppose to be here.
