What's Wrong with this Picture?

Why nothing. The constitution grants the right to own guns and to peaceful protest. That is correct. However the definition of weapon is an object used to injure defeat destroy or kill another. Since assault rifles are not just weapons but ultra weapons, it seems unlikely that their intent is for a peaceful purpose. More than likely they are more for the purpose of intimadation. Well what is intimidation? It is the act of frightening or threatening someone usually to persuade them to do something. When groups of people wave guns around and yell slogans is this peaceful? Possibly. but the definition of assault is a threat of bodily harm with an apparent ability to carry it out. I would say that most people that did not know these people would be wary at least and threatened at most. So with the intent of intimidation this is not a peaceful protest. Many things can change this into a violent cofrontation in a matter of  seconds. There are groups of people in this country that have a sole purpose of starting an armed confrontation and could easily manipulte this into a massacre. Many soldiers returning from combat suffer from PTSD with some having fragile psyches which could cause a break in a few confronted with a group of men with millitary style weapons. In conclusion, if you want weapons for self defense the constitution is with you. If you want a gun to hunt with, it may be the only way you will be able to afford to put meat on your table. But if you bring guns, especially assault weapons into a public space with the intent to intimidate others, you are infringing on other's inaleinable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
