There have been many forms of racism that have defined this country's attitude toward African Americans. From treating humans as if they were animals, where lynching, murder, torture, rape, and total degradation was considered acceptable, to that of a second class citizen with second class rights. If this was your heritage, how silent would you be?

If the slogan "BLACK LIVES MATTER" is returned with ALL LIVES MATTER, of course all lives matter. If you told you close friend that your spouse was dying, and they said "all spouses die", you would think this person is an insensitive jerk. A real friend would say " I see your hurting, is there anything I can do to help?" Until compassion and understanding is the response to those who just want to live without fear of being another headline.........
